Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor is still trying to recover thousands of dollars worth of musical equipment that was stolen while he was on tour in Europe over the past month.
According to the "Des Moines Register," the rocker reported a theft totaling more than $36,000 to West Des Moines police this past Sunday. Taylor reportedly told the cops he believes a friend stole the equipment, although no charges have been filed yet. Police say some of the missing gear has been recovered, but Taylor sent out a tweet Tuesday morning asking anyone with information on the theft to contact the West Des Moines PD.
He also thanked everyone for their concern, adding that he appreciates everything the Des Moines community is doing for him.

-contact the West Des Moines PD. FYI- the basses stolen were not Paul's personal basses. They were Paul Gray Signature Basses from Ibanez.— The Boogie Knight (@CoreyTaylorRock) July 9, 2013
