Music legends and Northeast Ohio’s finest musicians are ready to rock out Memorial Day weekend at the 23rd Annual Marc’s Great American Rib Cook-Off & Music Festival, Friday, May 23 through Monday, May 26 at Jacobs Pavilion and the Nautica Entertainment Complex. 

Entertainment kicks off Friday night with a “bone-crushing dance party” featuring Disco Inferno and The Spazmatics one night on the same stage! Get ready to get sauced at the Rib Cook-Off with two of the most popular party bands! Rounding out the weekend’s entertainment on the Bud Light Main Stage will be Joan Jett and the Blackhearts on Saturday, May 24, Taking Back Sunday on Sunday, May 25, and Monday, May 26 will be “country to the bone” featuring country music from the time the Rib Cook-Off opens until the last rib falls off the bone at closing! The Monday Memorial Day line-up will feature Blackberry Smoke and a host of great country performers, including Dylan Scott. The annual barbecue extravaganza is produced by Live Nation and co-presented by Fox 8 and Bud Light. 

Entertainment continues to be FREE with a general admission ticket. For an additional charge, a limited number of prime reserved seat tickets for Joan Jett and the Blackhearts and a limited number of front-of-stage general admission access tickets for Taking Back Sunday and Blackberry Smoke, which also includes admission to the Rib Cook-Off, will go on sale Friday, April 11 at 10 a.m. at Discounts do not apply on advance reserved tickets or front-of stage general admission tickets. 

The Rib Cook-Off house band, Steve Broderick & The 100 Watt Suns, will entertain attendees all weekend long as part of a special “One’s to Watch” music residency program. They join a host of other regional performers appearing throughout the event on the Live Nation “Ones to Watch” Stage and at the Roots of American Music Acoustic Dining Tent. Bands confirmed to-date include: Borrow Tomorrow, Christopher Wild, Mixed Elements Roberto Ocasio Student Jazz Band, Two Days Until Tomorrow, Ohio Sky, Red Sun Rising, Envoi, Ray Flanagan and The Authorities, Buck Naked Band, Jordan Genovese Band, Tom Frietchen Band, London Flatts, Georgia and The Georgia Preachers. 

Be sure to also visit the Riverside Terrace and Dining Area, located along the Cuyahoga River with access to the new Nautica Complex boardwalk. This now offers rib lovers a place to sit down, enjoy their barbecue and take in beautiful views of Lake Erie. The One’s-To-Watch Stage and the Budweiser Build-A-Bar will be located on the Riverside Terrace.
