On Saturday night in Perth Axl Rose reportedly injured a fan during the opening night of Guns N' Roses' Australian tour, and now the fan plans to take the matter to court.
Triple M reports that a 39-year old fan named Darren Wright, was left bleeding and had bits of tooth missing when Axl chucked his mic into the crowd and hit the dude square in the mouth. And now he wants Rose to pay his dental bills. The tour promoter reportedly apologized and offered an autographed microphone from Rose instead.
Apparently Wright is not interested in Axl’s kind gesture and will, instead, take the matter to court.
Earlier this week Van Halen singer David Lee Roth claimed that he and his band will embark on a massive tour of the UK and Europe this year but now Van Halen’s manager Irv Azoff says not so fast, Dave. He tells Billboard: "All the announced dates, which include the date in Australia, the dates in Japan and a date in Wisconsin, are confirmed and on sale, and those are real. I manage the Van Halens and I know nothing about any European tour." The band’s been sitting dormant since August when Eddie Van Halen suffered a case of diverculititis which forced him into surgery, and forced VH to cancel the remainder of their US tour.
