Pearl Jam is on track to land another chart-topping album on the Billboard 200.
Industry sources predict the band's tenth studio effort, Lightning Bolt, will sell at least 170,000 copies this week, which should be enough to put it at number one on the new album chart.
Eddie Vedder and the guys have previously debuted on top four different times, most recently with their last album, 2009's Backspacer.
Buckcherry has officially parted ways with longtime bassist Jimmy Ashhurst.
After fans began to question why Ashhurst wasn't in the lineup at Buckcherry's recent shows, the band issued a statement explaining that he has been let go. The rockers say Jimmy voiced his "extreme level of unhappiness on a daily basis," and they gave him the opportunity to step aside on his own.
But he chose to remain, which began to "diminish the collective happiness, creativity, and progress" of the band. So the remaining band members say they've decided to move forward, although that add that Ashhurst is a great musician and they don't wish to put him in an unfavorable light.
Meanwhile, Kelly Lemieux has come on board to handle bass duties for the rest of Buckcherry's 2013 touring schedule.
