Indians celebrate Thanksgiving with deserving kids

Tribe throws party at Progressive Field.

(Downtown) - The Cleveland Indians held a big Thanksgiving party for children in need, Sunday at the Terrace Club at Progressive Field.



The Tribe partnered with Delaware North Companies and four area non-profit service organizations to prepare and serve a traditional Thanksgiving dinner to 300 individuals and families in the Cleveland community.

Attendees were entertained by area bands provided by Vyne Entertainment with appearances by Slider and the Hot Dog Mascots. Arts and crafts were also available for attendees.



The Thanksgiving dinner was served by Indians President Mark Shapiro, Indians General Manager Chris Antonetti and additional Cleveland Indians Executive Front Office staff members.

Children from all over town were guests of non-profit organizations Guidestone, Boys and Girls Clubs of Cleveland, Our Lady of the Wayside, and Shoes and Clothes for Kids.
