Each faces bribery charges
(Cleveland) - Three local attorneys have been indicted on bribery charges. Anthony Calabrese III, of Bentleyville, Marc Doumbas, of Westlake, and Giles Timothy Marshall, of Olmsted Falls, are accused of attempting to bribe two seperate rape victims in a pending criminal case.
Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Tim McGinty says the bribe looked to change the victim's testimony in exchange for $150,000 cash and a $6,000 finder fee. Investigators raided Calabrese's Bentleyville home December 18th.
He turned himself in to the Bentleyville P.D. Thursday night and is being held in the Cuyahoga County Jail. Calabrese has also been charged in the federal probe into Cuyagoga County government corruption. He's expected to plead guilty next month to racketeering charges.
