(Medina County) - Cleveland Water Department crews are dealing with water main break in the 4500 block of Center Road in Brunswick.

Center Road is closed from Pearl Road to Substation Road. Truck traffic is being rerouted, but local traffic is getting through.

John Goersmyer of the Cleveland Water Department says about 15 homes are without service. He's hoping repairs can be completed by the afternoon drive, however, Goersmyer warns that crews could encounter unforseen problems.

So far, they don't know what caused the 12 inch main to rupture, but Goersmyer explains breaks are common during the winter and spring because of the freeze-thaw process.
