Danielle Fink was well known in Cleveland journalism circles.
(North Olmsted) - Danielle Fink was killed in a car accident in North Olmsted late Saturday or early Sunday morning.
Police say her car struck a tree and she was found just after 8:30 Sunday morning. The accident happened on Bradley Road close to the North Ridgeville city line.
Fink was a Channel Three News assignment editor and extremely well liked in the northeast Ohio journalism community. News of her passing spread on Facebook and Twitter, leading to numerous comments and condolences.
Channel 3 posted the following comments:
She loved Cleveland and Northeast Ohio passionately. She was a loyal fan of the Indians, Cavaliers and Browns. Dani celebrated all that made her hometown special.
The family is making arrangements and will release more information as soon as possible. We offer our sincere condolences to her family and share in their grief.
Police say she had already passed away by the time they arrived at the crash site. They are still investigating the cause of the crash.
