Teen was held captive for several days. Suspect is in custody.
(Cleveland) – Police have rescued a 16 year old girl who says she was kidnapped, held captive in an empty house and raped.
Investigators report the teen was abducted on January 16th while walking along Lorain Avenue, and held for several days. She was able to get her captive's cell phone and call her mother for help.
Police searched abandoned homes in the area of West 94th Street after the teen made phone contact with officers, and rescued her from an upstairs room on January 18th.
The teen says she was forced into a car by a family friend, and spoke out about her ordeal fearing the suspect may have attacked other girls.
In custody is 30 year old Antonio Davis, who was later arrested at a home on Wakefield Avenue. He's facing kidnapping and rape charges.
