Some long distance service was also affected.

911 service in northeast Ohio has been restored. 

At about 3 p.m. 911 service was confirmed to be restored in Mentor, Willoughby, Wickliffe and at Central Dispatch.

AT&T crews repaired a  broken fiber line in the Cleveland area that caused the widespread issues
