(Cleveland) - Cleveland Police are investigating the death of a four month old girl who was found unresponsive inside a home on the city's eastside Sunday morning.
Police were called to the home on E. 103 Street about 9am. The baby was taken to the hospital where she died overnight.
Cleveland Police Sgt. Sammy Morris says the baby's father Larry Hogan has been arrested but has not yet been charged.
According to the police report, Rose Hogan was found laying face up and appeared not to be breathing with milk on her face. Larry was sitting in a chair crying. Larry later told police he was feeding the baby when he fell asleep. When he woke up, he found Rose with a pillow over head and not breathing.
The cause of her death will be determined by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner.
On Monday evening Larry Hogan was released from jail pending further investigation.
