Union leader saysMcGrath turned his back on officers in police shooting deaths.

(Cleveland) - The Cleveland Police Patrolmens' Association has a news conference scheduled Wednesday in the aftermath of Ohio Attorney General Mike Dewine's report in the shooting deaths of police chase suspect Timothy Russell and passenger Malissa Williams.

Cleveland Police union president Jeff Follmer tells Newsradio WTAM 1100's Bob Frantz he wants Cleveland Police Chief Michael McGrath to resign. He says McGrath failed to support the officers involved immediately after the incident. Follmer says things are at an "all-time" low right now throughout the department.

Follmer says there are a number of deputy chiefs and commanders who would make a great police chief. The C.P.P.A. has a news conference scheduled for 3pm at the union hall on West 58th Street.
