(Akron) - A water main break Wednesday on Middleton Road in Hudson has prompted a precautionary boil water advisory for Akron water customers in Hudson and Twinsburg Township, North of Middleton Rd. and including Middleton Rd.

As a precaution, and in accordance with EPA regulations, those customers should boil their water until further notice.

If you live in these areas but do not have Akron water service, you are not affected.

For those who are, boil water for two minutes before drinking it.

This advisory will remain in effect until further notice and will be a minimum of 24 hours.
