Pleading not guilty.

(Cleveland) -- 26-year old Candice Stetzy was arraigned in Cleveland Muni Court Friday morning, along with 35-year-old Ryan Stetzy, who was sporting his distictive spike hairdo.

Candice Stetzy was very nonchalant during the proceeding. Several times she was asked to pay attention. Judge Michelle Denise Earley set bond at $50,000 apiece.

The case now goes to Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court.

The couple, evicted from their house on Cleveland's west side, are facing charges because police say they had a suspected methamphetamine lab in the house -- a house in which they lived with their children, aged 4, 2 and 1.

The Stetzys are both charged with violation of the state drug law, and child endangering.

Cleveland Police say they were called out to 1825 Willowdale Ave. on Wednesday by bailiffs from Cleveland Municipal Court. Bailiffs were evicting the residents of the house when they found drug paraphernalia where the children had been.

Police Det. Jennifer Ciaccia tells WTAM 1100 their officers had reason to believe the paraphernalia was used for the manufacture of methamphetamine. Some suspected methamphetamine was also found. The police bomb squad was called in as a precaution because of the volatile nature of the chemicals.

Ryan and Candice Stetzy were arrested by police. Their children have been turned over to a family member.
