(Elyria) - A Lorain County mom is due in court to answer to charges of failing to take care of her young son.

Latasha Andrewski is facing two counts of child endangering in Elyria Municipal Court. She’s accused of not attending to her 3 year old Trevor. Witnesses spotted the toddler riding his tricycle along the middle of East Avenue.

Elyria Police report that the child was spotted biking down busy streets on 4 separate occasions. Andrewski could get up to 6 months in jail and a thousand dollar fine on each of the two counts if found guilty.
