(Cleveland)- A marijuana suspect was arraigned in Cleveland Municipal Court Monday morning after being arrested in a major pot growing operation.
Police arrested Steven Schiff in Broadview Heights where they found several pounds of Marijuana, a .45 caliber pistol, and $15,000 in cash.
Cleveland investigators claim Schiff was running a pot farm in a building at East 58th and Harvard Avenue, were detectives confiscated 800 marijuana plants, high end equipement.

Investigators claim the operation handled the whole process from growing seedlings to packaging the marijuana for wholesale. The included motorized track lighting that moved from side to side continuously delivering the light needed for quickened growth.
The initial search warrant was obtained by information provided to the Narcotics Unit by a Cleveland Division of Police Motorcycle Unit Officer. Schiff has been charged with Felony Cultivating Marijuana.
The odor of marijuana was so strong from the building at 5718 Harvard, that it could be easily smelled across the street. The mailbox was labeled CFI Services. The area is mostly commercial.
The two story brick structure has no outstanding features other than a broken window on the first floor.
