Josh Cribbs is hoping to stay with the Browns

Wide receiver still wants to end his career in Cleveland.

(Cleveland) - Josh Cribbs' future with the Cleveland Browns remains uncertainty, but one thing is for sure, he wants to finish his career on the Northcoast.

Meeting with fans at the Cleveland Auto Show Saturday afternoon, Cribbs explained that he wants to retire with the Browns, and if he ends up playing for another team it will hurt.

Cribbs says he loves the Cleveland area, and maintains the fans here are the best in the league. He has a lot invested in the community and his kids love going to school here. Cribbs adds looking forward to playing for the Browns new coaching staff.

Whatever happens, Cribbs says he will hold Cleveland near and dear to his heart, and will be in the stands to celebrate whenever the Browns win a Superbowl.

The wide receiver and kick-return specialist still hasn't heard from the Browns about a new contract.

His agent, J.R. Rickert has said there are plenty of teams interested in Cribbs, and they are very impressed with his playmaking ability.
