(East Cleveland) - East Cleveland Police are investigating a shooting at a funeral for a murder victim.

Mayor Gary Norton tells Newsradio WTAM 1100 they were inside Omega Baptist Church when a shot was fired from outside into the church. No one was hurt, but people started to panic.

The church is located in the area of Hayden and Beaumont. Police said they are looking for the gunman.

East Cleveland Schools were placed in lockdown for about 30 minutes, according to Superintendent Myrna Corley. The kids weren't believed to be in any danger and the lock down has been lifted.

The funeral was for 24-year-old Cedric Morgan, an East Cleveland rapper who was shot and killed last week in front of his home.

Morgan, who performed under the name of "Lil Ced", was shot multiple times in the 1200 block of East 142nd Street.
