(Cleveland) - A man is dead after police say he shot his daughter, then turned the gun on himself.

At 3:46 a.m. Monday, Police Dispatch received a call for trouble unknown at 2138 West 104th Street. Officers found a 12-year-old white female with gunshot wounds to the chest and 46-year-old Robert Arnold unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head.

EMS was notified and responded to the scene. The female victim was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center, where she is being treated for her injuries and the male was pronounce dead on the scene.

The preliminary investigation reveals that the suspect shot his daughter and then himself. The official cause of death will be determined by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office.

 The incident is under investigation.
