The $400 million complex will employ over 1,700 people, after creating an estimated 2,000 construction jobs. The 400,000 square foot facility will have 2,000 slot machines, 85 table games and 31 World Series of Poker tables.
The casino also offers a reward program with its partners from ten downtown restaurants. There are four restuarants inside the casino including Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, Jack Binion's Steakhouse, Bobby Flay's Burger Palace and The Spread buffet.
The casino says that it will generate 100 million dollars annually in gaming tax revenue. The gross casino revenue tax rate set at 33 percent is one of the highest in the U.S for a resort casino with this level of investment.
It is estimated that the casino will attract 6 million visitors annually.
