Accused of stabbing his wife to death in late February.

(Stow) - 50-year-old Glenn Wong has waived his right to a preliminary hearing in Stow Municipal Court. Wong is accused of stabbing his wife to death in their Twinsburg home last week.
A preliminary hearing is a formal opportunity for a defendant to require the prosecution to present evidence that there was probable cause for an arrest.
Since Wong waived this hearing, the case is "bound over" to Summit County Court of Common Pleas. The next step is a presentation of the case by Twinsburg detectives to a Summit County grand jury.
The grand jury will determine the specific crimes for which Wong could be indicted. Wong remains in the Summit County Jail on a $1 million cash bond.
Police were called to the Wong home on Abrams Drive early February 24 for a domestic violence complaint. They found 46-year-old Tami Wong in the first floor bedroom, stabbed multiple times.
Wong was rushed to the Cleveland Clinic in Twinsburg where she died during surgery.
Glenn Wong was transported to the same hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The couple's two children -- a 10-year-old daughter and an 8-year-old son -- are being cared for by relatives. It was the daughter who called 9-1-1.
