The National Weather Service confirms an EF-1 tornado struck Pepper Pike about 3:30A.M.
(Pepper Pike) There was significant wind damage from Saturday's storms at Ursuline College. Now it appears that a tornado was to blame.
The National Weather Service says an EF-1 level tornado touched down in Pepper Pike where the college is located.
A wall of the gym at Ursuline collapsed due to the rough weather.
Sister Diana Stano, President of Ursuline tells WKYC a portion of the wall collapsed around 3 a.m. Saturday.
Several trees were also down in the area. No one was hurt and the campus will be closed for two days to assess damage and start repairs.
