(Cleveland) - Former Cuyahoga County Sheriff Bob Reid is throwing his hat into the ring for Cuyahoga County Executive.

Reid is going after the post since current County Executive Ed FitzGerald is running for governor and will not seek re-election.

The County Executive's job pays $175,000 dollars a year. The 61-year old Reid says hi 25 years in city and county affairs qualify him for the job.

Ohio House minority leader Armond Budish may also seek the post.
